COOKING CLASS INFORMATION
Having taken over 200 cooking classes all over the world (many from notable chefs), I’ve learned so much about ingredients, technique, flavor profiles, and timing. From decades of entertaining, I’ve perfected crafting a menu, and planning ahead so you can enjoy your party with your guests. I want to share this knowledge with you so that you can confidently prepare food for your family and friends.
Where are the classes?
Classes will take place in my home kitchen - specifically designed for a chef and with entertaining in mind.
What is the class size?
The class size will be no more than 5 students at a time, so that each student is able to practice techniques on each item of the menu and receive coaching. I’ve learned from experience that in most commercialized cooking classes, you don’t get to make everything on the menu, which can be frustrating when you want to re-create it at home.
What does the class include?
-Personalized teaching of the menu in a 1:5 teacher-student ratio in a chef-designed kitchen with all cooking equipment provided
-All cooking ingredients
-The meal (full sized portions, not like the “tasting” portions often provided in other classes) - everything the students cooked and in some classes you will leave with leftovers to enjoy later
-The recipes to utilize in your home kitchen
-During the lesson, I will give you ideas on how to expand the items you learned how to cook (i.e. this sauce can be used with chicken, etc.) and how to serve for a party or family-style by changing the presentation of the item.
-Non-alcoholic beverages
How long are the classes?
The class should take 2.5 to 3 hours.
